Service, Delivery, Cancellation, and Payment Policies

There are 4 ways to have food catered from Appleton Catering

1. Pick up your food at Appleton Catering. Be your own caterer!

2. Have Appleton Catering deliver your food anywhere in the tri-state area.

3. Have our staff help you with a portion of your event.

4. Have your event catered "full service" with our staff catering your entire event.

 

Customer Pick-up at Appleton Catering

Your food will be refrigerated and oven ready, unless you specify that you want it warm. We will even load your car for you. You only pay food cost. This could be many different foods to be served at many different temperatures. You may have to use chafing dishes or an oven to finish heating your food after pick-up. Please ask for advice about heating your food.

 

Delivery /Drop Off  -     $20 Cold Drop-off        $40 Warm Drop-off

Your food will be refrigerated and ready to heat, unless you specify that you want it warm. We will deliver as far as you like; past 10 miles will cost additional. Warm food can be tricky. Some foods need additional heating at the location. If you don't have an oven or chafing dishes, consider delivery and set up instead. Please ask for advice about heating your food. Early morning, late night, or third shift deliveries are available at additional cost. You must provide a contact with a cell phone whenever possible.

 

 

Delivery and Set up - $75 for delivery plus $20 per chafing dish

Setting up a hot buffet requires more time than a warm drop off, so we need a larger window of arrival. We will arrive about 1 ½ hours before you eat.  It takes about 30 minutes to set up an average buffet so please have buffet tables ready with your favorite tablecloth or order them from us if you like. We will supply all bread baskets, salad bowls, serving spoons, tongs etc. Our staff will have your buffet completely set up, hot, and ready to enjoy by your specified eating time. You may return our equipment the next business day, or add our return and pick up service to your order. You must provide a contact with a cell phone whenever possible to make deliveries smooth and easy.

 

Return and Pick up service - $45

Our staff will return the following business day to pick up our equipment. Please order return service when placing your food order.

 

Buffet Attendants / Bartenders / Grill Chefs

Buffet attendants will set up, maintain and serve from behind the buffet as necessary and wrap up any leftovers for you to keep. They will break down the buffet and remove all equipment when finished. Buffet attendants are not responsible for any other part of the event.

 

Full Service   

Full service events include an event coordinator to help you with the details of your event. Servers, chefs and bartenders are staffed as needed to help you in any way that they can to make your event a memorable one. We can provide tents, musicians, photographers, DJ's, flowers, linens, etc.. Please call to set up an appointment. In just 20-30 minutes we can get enough information to give you a written quote.

 

Cancellation Policy

All food and services are special order. All pick up and delivery food orders cannot be cancelled less than 7 days prior to your event. It is suggested that you have a contingency plan for bad weather. Food can be frozen and held for a later date, or we will deliver to a homeless shelter with no delivery charge. Please call our sales office for our cancellation policy on full service events.

 

Payment Policy

A 25% deposit is required on all orders over $100.00. Final head count, changes & full payment are due 5 days prior to the event. Full Service events require final head count, changes & final payment at your final meeting which is 2 weeks prior to the event.
